So, you have decided you are ready to join a gym or choose a new one. There are many factors that not only will help you choose, but will help you continue on and stay motivated. There are all kinds of exercise programs out there to choose from. None of them are “bad” and most with help you to lose pounds and feel better, but I must say I am partial to CrossFit. After 10 years coaching people, it is hands down the best way to make you fitter in almost every aspect of your life.


CrossFit has taken a bad rap in the time I have been coaching. Yes, people do get hurt sometimes. I personally have hurt myself walking so there’s that. With proper coaching and guidance along with listening to your coaches' advice, we will keep you safe as possible. The majority of the injuries I have seen have happened outside of the gym walls. You start to feel like a super hero after a while. So with all the gyms around...


HOW DO I CHOOSE A GYM THAT'S RIGHT FOR ME?


  • Coaches

We have very knowledgeable coaches. We will teach and guide you through the movements. You're never left on your own to figure anything out. We train you how to do it correctly and scale to your ability. No one expects or wants you to push beyond your level. We know what your level is and adjust your workout to fit your needs, but you will be pushed out of your comfort zone. That’s where change happens.


  • Programming

There is a method to our programming. It may look random, but it is not. It is designed to make you stronger, faster, and better at life. It is challenging. Without a challenge your body has nothing to adapt to, therefore there is no change. Isn’t the reason you are joining a gym to see change? We work on skills. We learn to lift weights properly. We learn about our limits.


  • Recovery and Nutrition

Recovery and how you fuel your body are just as much if not more  important than what you do in the gym. We offer stretching classes and during regular classes we teach you how to warm-up and mobilize your body to prepare for and recover from your workouts. Nutrition is key to losing weight but also to how you feel during the day. We can teach you a better way to eat that fits into your life.


  • Facility

We are a brand new facility offering top of the line equipment. We have men's and women's showers and AIR CONDITIONING. We are in Florida after all! (I like to work out in the heat but not everyone does.)


  • Community

I left community for last, but it’s certainly not last on the list. In fact, it should be first. We are a family, and every member is a part of it. We sweat together, help each other and support one another the best way we can. We all look forward to seeing your faces and encourage you to come back. We are waiting for you to come back. A lot of gym models are based on the hope that you don’t show up. In fact, we will harass the shit out of you if you don’t come in. Our members are achieving life long and even brand new goals. They are doing things they never thought they could do.
